I wish we had more time to spend and could have explored the longer hikes throughout the park. (Maybe next time?) What we did see was pretty cool! Black Canyon of the Gunnison is amazing and well worth the visit. We spent all day on the south rim and drove down to the bottom. We stayed in Montrose so we took a cooler with food for picnicing (There is no food to buy in the park).
